NEW MUSIC - April 29, 2008, 12:12 pm
Well, we're are working on new music. This is obvious because we only have one song up, but, regardless, I felt the need to inform you. We have about 12 songs pending completion. To put it in perspective, if we worked on them for about an hour, we'd have twelve songs. If we were provided with about 5 hours, we'd be able to finish about 4 more songs afterwards. Anyway, new music is definitely on the way, we are currently waiting for our vocalist, Austin Beck of the solo project Final Affliction (http://www.myspace.com/finalafflictionmusic), to get back from California. He happens to have all of the decent recording equipment. Needless to say, he also has the voice, which is also key in helping us complete our songs. So,

KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR NEW MUSIC THIS MAY AND ESPECIALLY DURING THE SUMMER.

We have had bass tryouts, but we are not certain on anything yet. If you or anybody you know plays bass and can make it to practice in Beech Island, SC, let us know.

Also, there is a chance that our vocalist may not be with us long, he may be moving to Las Vegas or Tampa Bay. So, although we DEFINITELY hope he won't, if he does, we will still need a vocalist. So get in touch with us if u can sing/scream or know somebody who can.

Thanks,

Nightmare Symphony

About

Well, it all started when Chris and Zach met in 9th grade. Both played guitar, but they played very different styles of rock. Zach, more into Metallica, played old school thrash metal. Chris, was playin more Creed, RHCP, and classic rock (aerosmith, AC/DC..). When the two started hanging out and listening to each others music, they developed a style that combined the best elements of all the music they loved. Then the talk of starting a band began. In the beginning it seemed like a joke...but now, with almost 3 years under their belts, Chris is holding up the crazy, fretboard melting leads, and Zach takes care of the crushing, rampaging riffing. After finding Brandon, a killer drummer, the band began to take shape. Next was picking a name, which is more difficult than it sounds. After tossing around many names, we finally reached agreement and Nightmare Symphony was born.
